back again

6:30 pm, Tuesday evening. I got the most beautiful phone call ever... "Hi Behn, Its Paul. Can you come with your truck???  /IT/ is too big to fit in my car...... Behn?? BEHN??"       I must have passed out. Then booked it up to Future Shop where proud Paul was standing guard over his BRILLIANT Samsung 42" Plasma...  I looked at Paul and was like, "I dont think We'll
even get this in the TRUCK!"  hah.. But we did.. And did we EVER..  And the lovely creation is sitting in the 
living room looking simply DEVINE

So yah, thats fine.

Paul and My painting project is reaching its completion. We've got the living room double coated, and we're have way down the stairs.. Whoever invented painting should be shot by the way. Hah. Although, im glad we put the time into it, as the result was pleasing. The lack of purple is very comforting.

Work has been steady. I've been in charge of all the final projects that take place outside the shop. Which is nice because the weather has been great the last few days. And its good experiance.

I've been on the semi-look-out for a new car lately. The truck is great, but the gas bill is getting high. I keep saying I'll have the finances  NEXT month.. but, I'm not making to much headway.. I think I'm going to die during school.. 2.5 month with no pay check?? Its going to be noodle soup and water rations for me..

OH! And we have a freezer now. Sure it came from an old, gutted out trailer. But after a little love and cleaning fluid, we now can have ice cream in the house. *fist pumping*

ponderings..

How do we know when something is right???  For as long as i can remember,
I've wondered about this..  Is it a good feeling inside?? 
Is it the approval of other that tells us?? Is there some Wise Man 
somewhere who can explain this?? 
Hah, I guess as a Christian I know who that would be. It's still hard to grasp. 
Am I just not right with God? Is My life so distracted from Him that I cant 
hear Him whispering His plan for me??? Are there things in My life that need 
working on BEFORE i get the answers i desperately want??? 

Friends, I'm asking you to pray for me in regards to my confusion.
Pray that God will show me how He wants me to live, and that He will give me the strength to hold Myself to that.

One a different note, Results from last week-ends Youth Workers Conference came in and the majority was POSITIVE! haha.. really, it was a great weekend. Picked up some good information and ideas, as well as just taking the time to get to Our leadership team better. I wouldnt say the weekend was all around challenging as far as getting our youth group "whipped into shape", but there were some good things said.

Liz, I was going to build some signs and start protesting H.S rights, but lack of support
from my comrades dropped my moral fairly quickly. I DID however scout out the
terrain for best possible ground assault. They foolishly constructed their stronghold 
WITHOUT several key defense systems, No moat for instance.  
I've begun mustering the troops already.        ;)

Hmm.. March already..

So I'm stoked for this weekend. A bunch of us Young Adults from V.V.B.C are heading down once again to Columbia Bible College, Abbotsford, B.C for a Young Leaders Convention. I attended last year's, and really enjoyed Myself. We heard some really good speakers, including Marv Penner Director of Briercrest Bible College. The band was refreshing, and all in all it was a good weekend spent gathering information and growing with friends.

This year We are borrowing My family's van for the road trip. Hopefully we will have better luck with the hotel this year as well, seeing as last year none of had a credit card so we had a rough time securing a couple rooms. In the end, Ryan got his Mom to fax Her credit card to the hotel.. weird.  

The rip-off is that I miss Floor Hockey on Friday.. And this was going to be my week off from playing Goalie.. and i was rather looking forward to it. But whatever.

So the second part to my entry of the day is an apology for my lack of creativity on my blog. Being the not so amazing gifted in creativeness person to start with, i think i struggle with stuff like this.. Slowly, i think i will figure stuff out. In fact, i think I'm going to devote the next few days to upgrade the condition of my blog instead of posting..

My Stupid busy life.. Lets see,  

-Monday, I worked then striaght to Kelowna for Alive.
-Tuesday, Work then Jeff's house to finish my side -job.  
-Wednesday, Again work, bible study..
-Thursday, Work then movie night with friends..
-Friday, Hockey and finish the Canucks game, JACKIE CHAN..
-Saturday, Side-job at 9, Clean the house, Dinner with Family.
-Sunday, Early morning practice, Church, Young Adults.

Heh.. I guess thats just what life is..

But really.. I need a week off. Like, a WHOLE week.. Of course i'll still work.. But afternoons and the WHOLE weekend i need to do something new..

I have a wierd craving to do some adventuring.. Maybe its the onset of warm weather we've been having. I'm getting stoked for the summer and all the hiking potential. I have to go scout out the site for this summer's great rabbit killing fest. Yes, get excited folks.

Late to bed, Late to Rise

Wierd stuff..

Last night I was in Kelowna at Willow Park Church for "Alive", the Young Adult evening that the church puts on. Last was a Concertish night featuring a band whose guitar/vocalist/band leader was a friend of Ryan C.'s at bible college. It was really good..

The ride there and back was an experiance too. Crammed in the back of Ryan Knect's truck with Ryan C. Niether of us would accept the front seat, so we stuck it out in the back.. We had some good converstations, 
and actually kept Ryak from playing country music.. amazing I know.
My butt will never forgive me from those horrid seat though. Never again.

Ok, so here is the cool part. We didnt get back from Kelowna til like 12 in the morning.. normally, i would be in bad shape as I get up for work like 5.5 hours later. But i just laerned the day before that some Improtant personnel were having a tour of the plant tuesday morning, so my Boss told all the employees to not show up til 9 am!  Crazy! So I still got a good nights sleep.

Good news as well! I finished working at Jeff C.'s house tonight! I went there after work to finish it off and I'm pleased to report that everything is in working condition.  Jeff and Carissa are happy. I might not be as I got coated in a layer of Dog saliva.. But i'm glad to be out of there.. 

Work was good today.. I got alot done in a short time.. that makes me happy.

The Good Old Days

Wow, last night was a nice treat from the past. Its friday night, so as usual floor hockey at the Gym in Dallas takes place. But what made this night special was the appearances of BOTH Joshua and Bono.. To see josh don the pads like he use to 
brought tears to my eyes. But, that wasnt the end of the night, driving  home Tim, Liz, Bono, Josh, and I stopped at Petro Can for.. yes.. its true.. SLURPEES!! I have to say sadly i have not had a slurpee in like.. 6 months at least..

But wait, this is not all.. After arriving at "the house" in V.V, Paul C. revealing a copy of Airship Films.. I knew I could die peaceful now. We watched some classic short films including "the Flag" and "Pits of Doom", then settle in to see Jackie Chan in His "First Strike", followed by a strange and rather creepy "Sunshine".. no further comment :P  

So yah, after a short but hectic week, friday night was my remedy
